Anticipating Philly, and keeping Johnnie Walker Red Label

Updated: 10 hours ago

The route to celebrating Independence Day in Philadelphia is that what is doing in many months ahead. It is elaboration was done, and now it’s just waiting when the time comes to move. I can and should only be there in July 4th. Aside of excellent, during this period of preparation I discovered newly appeared or undetected before facts that influenced what I will visit. I keep a bottle of Johnnie Walker Red Label. Before I open and pour from it, I will disclose the films that I discarded from observation and the places that I avoid.

It is likely that Uwe Boll called his movie Dark Knight for commercial attraction. The wrong was the intrusion of Warner Bros. who said to him that sue if he doesn’t change the title. In their quirky view, it associated with one of Batman films. That was where the nonsense came. When I hear dark knight, I imagine a mysterious rider from the Medieval, and I usually don’t think of Batman. I didn’t see it as a right title when that flick received a name. Nor was it a correct movie about the hero of Gotham, though this was already understandable since release of Batman Begins. The German director’s project turned into Citizen Vigilante.

Uwe Boll claims that permitted Warner to use the title Rampage, which has one of his movies. However, at the time of the Dwayne Johnson’s movie release, Boll was simmering in anger and threatened to sue Warner Bros. for “misleading people” in his worldview. This was ludicrous because the conglomerate’s film was based on the videogame. I’m unsure that Uwe Boll made splendid with his upcoming films Citizen Vigilante and two parts of First Shift in doing the research. There will likely be troubles with realism and exaggeration in every flick, while his police dramas hunt for stereotypes, as I see in one-patched a gang leader. None of that is meaningful. The important is that I can’t review this human. He still shows an astronomical arrogance about how great he is. I could ignore that. I don’t accept his increased acts in insulting of people. It is incomparable how he did ten years ago, but it wouldn’t be amazing if he will return to that level. Boll has never apologized for his rude behavior toward men with opposite views, nor for the amoral things he said toward humans from a different political side.

No matter whether Best of the Best 5: Honor the Brave is made or not, or what the film will be, I can’t accept that Phillip Rhee has approved some communist personalities.

Along with that, I refuse in this case to watch the documentary The Vincent Price Legacy. I’ve learnt everything about its authors when they closed an account on X and relocated to Bluesky. Additionally, they have presence on all other criminal social media platforms.

The Morgan Library & Museum fascinates in the interior and collection of unique books and manuscripts. A current administration did the shame to the place, as it was shown recently. It is their right to celebrate whatever with sexual minorities. I can’t stand that they appointed a day to educate about homosexuals to kids. Their website informs that all ages are allowed, but centralizes as it recommended for children from 3 to 7. I would go to the library if it only be free. Unfortunately, I’m forced to refuse because I wanted to see the interior foremost, while old books can find in other libraries of the world, as I do time by time.

I intended to visit Veniero’s Pasticceria for its history of being opened in 1894 and that Frank Sinatra was a regular visitor. I wanted to check were or weren’t traditions saved by having some pastry with tea. Looking deeper makes to realize otherwise.

Their cheesecake is budgeted on look: it is too creamy and dense, and I afraid a temperature that using is incorrect as I look on the darkening of a top cover. The venue offers NY Strawberry Cheesecake on which put a giant named berry, and it’s a lot. The pastry shop fell into madness with abundance of fruits on its culinary products. That has with big one cakes, and those with strawberries they make an unforgivable mistake – keeping the green stems. Veniero’s Pasticceria is based mostly on Italian pastries, which Americanized in the way no one should. I look at the layers and unauthentic colors, and I see they don’t understand tiramisu. Their vision of Polish Napoleonka contains too thick layers of whipped cream. The shape of cannoli is more natural than what I watched in Italy, but their negative in adding of chemical ingredients, and one of them was a full-covering of such chocolate. The cannolo that I had in Palermo was pure ideal. It was because the Italian woman said to me about that, and I went there – it is the only kind exclusion when I listen the opposite sex; if it were about cleaning something or doing any kind of job – forget it.

The café is noticeable by that Frank Sinatra used to buy biscotti regina. Not something significant. I can pass on Veniero’s Pasticceria.

There was no a big desire to Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. It had some curious paintings from the times before contemporary art, but that’s all. I don’t regret that I won’t come since I know about their support of Black Lives Matter, which they did “unreservedly” in the committed official statement.

It is almost impossible to find a worthy restaurant in Philly. The oldest place is McGillin’s Olde Ale House. A pub with a mess design to where hanged and decorated everything. It makes to believe the owners took anything they had in own basements. The food is the unlikable side of America – the one is fast made and to where put many layers. The insolent part of the venue is taking twenty percent as gratuity. It is beautiful that they warned about that, but it is a literal robbery. That would be with any quantity.

The bottle of Johnnie Walker informs about the year 1820, but it was the opening of a store that was selling wines, spirits and groceries. It was in 1860 when appeared the iconic square bottle, and five years later the enterprise entered into aqua vitae production with the release of Old Highland Whisky, which was twelve years old. Between 1906 and 1909, two more drinks were added: Old Highland (5 years old) and Special Old Highland (9 years old), while the original was called Extra Special Old Highland. All these beverages had labels: white, red, and black, respectively. In 1909, Johnnie Walker had rebranding, which was appearance a symbol of Striding Man and giving color names to the drinks. It was changing with age. Old Highland, which became Johnnie Walker White Label, turned into 6 years old. Special Old Highland changed on Johnnie Walker Red Label at 10 years old.

White Label stopped to produce during The Great War, but the other two stayed, and I have Red Label. It, as any Johnnie Walker whisky, has a traditional percentage.

It requires waiting to make the whiskey breath in and open its high-quality entity. It drinks with getting an elite character. It burns but doesn’t touch. The aftertaste is lightness that stays dozens minutes later. Johnnie Walker Red Label, as many of this manufacturer’s bottles, is the one when you want to have a winner.
