A new film of Ray Breslin’s prison adventures is a second part from back-to-back production. Released a year ago Escape Plan 2: Hades tilted more to disappoint side. A scarce budget, which is fitting for home condition format, was near to that in whole quality. I'm absolutely sure, Sylvester Stallone evinced efforts for look professionally. Escape Plan: The Extractors didn't expect to be a nice surprise. Between films, appeared another two works of Mr. Stallone, which didn't glad that actor participated in there. Daniel Bernhardt's involvement in Escape Plan 3 made a wish on personal fight with main actor at least, but was looking explicit trailers crushed that Swiss master definitely willn't have a final battle. Negative factors weren’t a conclusion for here. Maybe, Escape Plan: The Extractors will became an unbelievable exclusion?
What is favorable — film isn't following to previous parts. Ray Breslin don't situate inside of prison. Introduced in Escape Plan 2 new team members had interesting characters and the best of them reappeared in the third flick. Underground specialist of prisons Dave Bautista’s Trent DeRosa deserves to have a more story after watching The Extractors. Acting on high from everybody, but characters undeveloped or introduced in a way “I can fight”. Devon Sawa in performing of ex-partner’s son amused in this description (it recalled a great genre parody “Last Action Hero”.) and I thought about Escape Plan 2, where for dramatize a main villain also was from a past, ex-worker of Breslin’s company, but, despite of all, in this screenplay I was interested to know about Lester Clark Jr. more. It’s unfortunately for me, his characteristic limited in pronunciation of knowledge about antiquity death chair and with other bad guys shows how are bad they are by usually killings of secondary characters.
It wasn’t a hopeless film in the most of length. Professionals had a business with B-movie material. John Herzfeld’s inclusion in screenplay, his direction and Sly’s influence endeavored to clean standardization in building of scenes. Dialogs aren’t chaotic compilation of words and haven’t protocol phrases (except Batista’s description of jail status.). Escape Plan: The Extractors was having scenes, where I liked to see in a view of how were made. In kidnapping scene a bodyguard guesses about danger, start action before attackers and liked camera’s position of coming Daniel Bernhardt’s character where behind of him sparked a thunder. Escape Plan 3 demonstrates technician ingenuity. It impresses in fights of conclusion battle, but screenplay makes it boring and looks as scene performance, because no action happens behind with other characters. Camera must show ability of every personage in a row: Breslin kills a couple of guys, DeRosa moves with fire flashing shotgun, needful one of Chinese for Chinese financing fights with Daniel Bernhardt. In this beauty loses sense. Evil goons disorient to be careful and use the mind. Inventiveness limits and when appears (what personally, I haven’t like in films.) scenes where every clear heart man gets an evil counterpart in fighting and no one of them is lose. Escape Plan excites in demonstration of different knowledges by the main hero, when in The Extractors not exist. It is painful for me due of absence and for a plot with beguiling conception .
Escape Plan 3 doesn’t fills in the screenplay, characters and follows of straight road in action. After watching, I only regret to Mr. Sylvester Stallone that he participated in needless back-to-back production. I would like to see a sequel of Escape Plan, not under it name.
