Festivity Drink: 2020 Merrain Rouge Medoc.

Yesterday was Bastille Day, which I couldn’t miss. The stories about the oppressions and extreme dire conditions of this prison, which were in pre-revolutionary days, were exaggerated, as it revealed after the storming. There were just seven prisoners who most of them weren’t anti-government men and were incarcerated for real crimes. Nevertheless, it led to overthrowing of monarchical tyranny.

A French bottle Merrain Rouge Medoc from 2020 was on the table. It contained a standard French trio: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot while percentage was thirteen. Alas, it was the one that seemed as a good wine.

This grape drink needs to breath as that so toward imprisoned people who just get freedom (though such men usually also need a shower) because you have neutral grapes at that stage, which will turn into saturated ones. I didn’t sense the maturity at that beginning – it was later. In drinking, you get a big unacceptable acidity initially, which almost leaves after waiting. Eventually, I had a wonderful wine, even despite I don’t prefer such a light percentage, which feels. The aftertaste was a big splash of satisfactory state. Viva la France!
