Festivity Drink: Wild Turkey 101.


So, I’m in Poland now. I didn’t intend to stay on July 4th despite I wanted to celebrate Independence Day USA in free country in this year. However, a circumstance of morning of 3rd brought me to extend my presence.


And I have a bottle for that. Wild Turkey 101 was discovered in walking around in one Italian airport Duty Free. Shelves had usual boredom of whisky and bourbon, which I always see in airports of Italy and I used these drinks many times. Suddenly, my eyes detected never seen before Wild Turkey 101. And, you know, we looked on each other, a spark flashed between us and… that was love…which cost twenty-six euros if I remember correctly. I was hugging this bottle tightly when sat in plane, which moved to Western Poland.


50,5% of strong. That detail had big attraction of mine curiosity to bourbon, which from Kentucky. An official site says that age is between six and eight years. Also there I read a headline “How to drink Wild Turkey 101” on what I said in deep voice “How to drink Wild Turkey 101? Ha! Just pour it in glass and drink. Ha! Ha! Ha!” (I know, it’s a stupid two-bit pun, but, sorry, I haven’t other.).


Polish breakfasts are luxurious. I took some cheddar and two pieces of brie (yes, you can have brie even in two-star Polish hotels as it was with me in Lodz.). Almost 8.30. It’s time to drink bourbon. I opened the bottle under Dean Martin’s Mambo Italiano and poured into prolonged middle glass. A saturated smell. Harsh and pleasant burning in keeping in mouth, but later using was adoptive. I had a little stuffy room and this whiskey better keep in nominal condition. Aftertaste is untouched stance and it gives a beautiful light cold simultaneously.


More than week ago, I arrived in Poland with one mood, but I got other one. To that time, I could release myself from cross on which I hanged and I grew new wings. However, today is Independence Day. In this day, it’s important to read again on America envisioned by Founding Fathers and look on what’s going now, because it’s contradictive. Where are those Americans? Not those who complain for nothing and looking for therapy for every little pain – ostensible woes of these people is incomparable with one day in Frontier, but those Americans who lived there, didn’t say that they don’t like it. Where are these Americans who learn history and what’s going in the country? Where are these Americans who against corrupted and traitorous politicians? Of course, it’s not case to mention Declaration of Independence, which writes “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”, but I see threats to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and demonstrate disagree with them. Freedom of Speech stays under attack. You can’t say that, you can’t do that and you must behave in this way – isn’t wish of authoritarian ruling? Of course, I know there are a lot of save Americans and I see that a lot of them don’t like these installed principles (especially senior people.). I believe, we will return to America, which was in basis.
