In Glory and Not.

It's known how actors of action can impress on screens and reveal the opposite behind the camera where they either might be less action or abominable human beings. The climate of the last years did impact and revealed who they actually are.

It was sudden and deeply sad to read about Richard Norton. He was still young. That man always brings rapture with his martial arts. It is lovely every time to hear "Painful?" from him. He was a true hero in real.

I was devastated to read about Chuck Norris. I couldn't look at his photos for some time. He made a plethora of classic action flicks: Silent Rage, Code of Silence, Missing in Action trilogy, Lone Wolf McQuade, Invasion U.S.A., The Cutter, Logan's War: Bound by Honor, and The Delta Force.

That man had a grandiose introduction to cinema. His first starring role was The Wrecking Crew, part of the espionage Matt Helm series with Dean Martin. The first scene was a fight with the leading man. Chuck practiced his high-leg kick with a stuntman. Then he met Martin whom he asked about awareness. He received a positive reply. It began that the singer didn’t dive on the first take, but everything went alright afterward. As Chuck himself told it, that’s how he entered into show business.

Alas, his fight in Coliseum with Bruce Lee in The Way of the Dragon wasn’t excellent itself. I didn’t like back then to see that his Colt demonstrating karate mastery against Bruce Lee’s hero, but it changed once on beating by the protagonist in which impossible to accept that Chuck’s villain couldn’t reflect such obvious blows. When I saw it somewhere earlier this year, I also noticed a talentless staging and editing. There’s often an emphasis on a cat that moves the head or other needless and wrong shots of the brawl. It was the directing debut of the lead performer, which explains the roughness. It’s in the eighties Chuck Norris made multiple incredible fights and shootouts.

I anticipated applause for his appearance in The Expendables 2, and it happened because there couldn’t be any other outcome. It was astonishing to hear Ennio Morricone in the moments of his emerging.

He was the action hero in real–by helping many people through his motivation and charity. This man supported light. I was surprised to discover he was for the Democrats, but it was long time ago. In that period of showing your side, he exposed that party and supported the right direction because they keep to honest values. The champion pointed out that nowadays we have a lot of negativity. He was always in great shape by practicing karate, and Chuck still joked before hours left us, which I find something poetic and symbolical. On his last birthday, the legend said, “I don’t age, I level up.”

There was some wishing that Arnie said something that didn’t vote that Democrat actually and he was forced to say on public or whatever. However, I realized that choice included the individual hate to Donald Trump. Recently, he disclosed his current nature at whole that made me to stop read any news and watch videos with him though I’m already almost ignored him. Anyway, he doesn’t make anything tantalizing for years.

The disclosure was on Bert Kreischer’s podcast. Not so many years ago, Arnold said that he took a part in Batman & Robin because liked the script and found his character Mr. Freeze interesting. The actor praised the directing of Joel Schumacher. Now he spoke that he didn’t want the role but the studio (Warner Brothers) wanted him so much and offered 25 million dollars, but he didn’t want to play the villain and called these money “petty cash”. One month later, the offer increased to 30 million dollars, which he accepted. Schwarzenegger did it because he wanted to outbid Sly Stallone in their competition that was going since the eighties. On that podcast, Arnie considers himself as the highest paid entertainer and laughs that Stallone is frustrated that never reached payment 30 million for a film. He has lied in everything. There were many people who earned more than he for one movie. For Batman & Robin, his clear money were 25 million dollars. The maximum amount was 29,25 million dollars for Terminator 3. I remember back then reading about this astonishing quantity (it was rounded to 30 million at that moment), which was his personal achievement. Schwarzenegger is a resenting personality. In that his telling how he tried to overcome Sly Stallone in salary, he mentions that the action counterpart received 15 million dollars for Rambo III (16 million dollars if be precise), which he calls as “for one of his movies at number three” – Arnie really hates this flick. There is one more factor. Before production of Rambo III started, Stallone received a “pay or play” offer in 34 million dollars for the fourth part of Vietnam War veteran. The actor is always had domination of an artist, even despite he claims on aspiration to the otherwise. He refused to do it. Now Sylvester thinks he was supposed to accept it at least due to reason you would get this money anyway. Nevertheless, Arnie left behind about who had the biggest deal.

Schwarzenegger had the darkness before that, as that competition was instigated by him by using dirty tricks against Stallone, as the most famous was provocation with filming in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. Sylvester shouldn’t have driven himself into the madness of taking that role and who have the biggest weapons and quantity of corpses (even though all that is unnoticeable and, perhaps, Arnold can’t stand Rambo III is also that it wins over). He had the arrogance in himself that contributed involving himself.

As can see, the fight hasn’t over with the reconciliation between actors in the nineties. One makes a documentary about himself, and soon you see the same from the other. Few years ago, both launched TV series. Arnie loses in everything: his show was closed after the second season and I don’t want to remind about his many wrong choices. I was fascinated more watching my lovable Raw Deal several months ago. He always stays as a great man who from nothing come to incredible achievements in bodybuilding, cinema, and politics. His personality and inspiration impresses and motivates. I will watch his movies with rapture, as it was before. But it was the man who dishonored himself, committed vile deeds and left the dark stain by his choosing the evil.

In the current last released feature with Jason Statham seemed something original: the lead actor had a beard and saving girl was Scottish. But I already noticed in the trailer that filming was Ireland, not Scotland – you can’t lie me about that. Anyway, I clicked that another repetitive and generic movie in which the action is brainless, as police forces don’t use fire weapons in arresting the lead character. The last films with Jason Statham are following the same pattern: he fights with white males who is leading the old one, his hero has a mega-decorated past and a mega-tough guy past of some special forces, when being chased by government there among of these men is always a black male or woman who begins to doubt about competence of his Caucasian superiors and, of course, non-white heroes always support and help to Statham. His upcoming flick that is simply called in one word, as always, makes humorous that all characters like to build sentences on a question word, an article with a noun “the fuck”, a subject and, probably, a predicate in having conversations with Jason’s hero or reacting on his acts. It was in one trailer where I heard: “What the fuck going on?” – the expression of dissatisfaction by a guard on the opened container with migrants, “Who the fuck are you?” – a polite interest from the hero of Annebelle Wallis who played a “must female character in a movie” to Statham’s protagonist, “What the fuck do you want?” – a misunderstanding asking from some character who experiences Statham’s beating. Perhaps, I pass with anything with the British performer because I can’t stand his leaning to Han Empire, political correctness, and the execution of far-left agenda.

Van Damme and Seagal found peace between each other (the conflict that was began by the latter because his cocky behavior) and opened to make something together. I’m not charmed by these two wife cheaters and lovers of dictators who play in low-budget movies now, which no one of these upcoming projects have my attention.

It saddens me to see Daniel Bernhardt playing villains or side evil roles in his recent movies in which lead heroes are persons that don’t wield martial arts and can’t act – both things that have the talent who came from Switzerland.
