The Different Pieces of Rambling. Paddy.

Updated: Aug 1

Two weeks ago, I crossed Bialystok, the city that historically belongs to the territory to the east. I always for justice, but that one relates to questioning. I was amazed by the town's incredible development when I was there. Since that first time, I always think I'm glad the territory under Poland. Otherwise, it would be another unnoticeable and the middle of nowhere that was forgotten by God. These barbarians can’t create and do only destruction. Besides, nothing left from their original civilization – it has gone; therefore there is no question about historical justice.

It astonishes that two bordering countries are drastically different. Slaves on the east and freedom fighters on the west.

It may be an exaggeration, but I understand the mind. When one Pole committed an anti-government diversion, Marquis Astolphe de Custine asked him about the reason and the reply was that he committed it because don’t forget and don’t deprive himself that he is a Polak, a free man.

It was taking the same route. I arrived in Florence, but I already knew where to go. A tram ticket from a familiar convenience store. Riding till the first stop at the station. A ticket on a train was purchased when around three minutes left. Fortunately, it changed in the previous year. Before that, you couldn’t buy a ticket in less than five minutes. I remember Stunning Italian Lady said about writing a complaint. I didn’t see a necessity, but she was right. I showed politeness to her in our last meeting.

I ran to the train, which was on the other end of the station. I asked a worker, who reminded me the forgotten. A button was pressed, but the doors didn’t move side. Wasn’t I late? Some man at far end said to me in English that the entrance on the other side. I wasn’t sure that I listened correct words, and to be honest, I wasn’t trusty. I should drop such habits after fights with commies. The gentleman repeated at the second time when he was closer. His said was indeed. I hoped that I thanked him. I moved to the parallel side with no shyness to step on the rails, as I did it once before when I also had a haste situation. But it was always rush to nowhere, as I was in Florence at the previous time. I pressed the first button, and the entrance opened at front of me. The train moved a little later his schedule. It was Italy.

I feel Italian myself in walking at Pisa Tower and find fun at these awkward tourists in my visits in the last years, as it was a few days before. No creativity. The most wondering that people arrive from around the world and do the same pattern postures. I was always horrified by thinking about people who live in towns that tourists visit.

My active movement has stopped. I had a bottle of Paddy, which poor appearance of liquid never looked as a high class. I wanted to find this truth.

The enterprise was established after unification four distilleries in 1868 (it became five the next year), which the oldest appeared in 1779; therefore it insolently saved the year. The name of their whiskey had a tangled Cork Distilleries Company Old Irish Whiskey. In 1882, the company hired Paddy Flaherty to promote their binge in pubs. He did it so successful, as giving free portions to people, that it unofficially became to name as “Paddy Flaherty’s whiskey”. Eventually the whiskeymaker took his name in 1912.

The drink with standard temperature and seven years age. It strikes you of scent that akin of ammonia, which could be useful as waking up medicine. It has no character and gives harshness after it pouring inside. You absolutely get this strong after holding in a mouth while acidity taste in swallowing whiskey without waiting. A base isn’t cheap in quality but makes a touch to there. Getting relaxation of body is the experience of the finish, which reasonably doesn’t worth it. I had a feeling of citrus fruits in sniffing and the aftertaste in different times of drinking.

Perhaps I will listen Ain’t No Sunshine by Bill Withers again.
