Yarden Gewurztraminer

Gewurztraminer originates from the northern part of Italy, the village Tramin, which distinctive feature is that almost all people there speak German, and it didn’t change since that. The grape’s classic placement is cool climates, as it considers. In any case, I wasn’t sure that something lovable can do with this berry–even it was from grandiose Israel–when I took a bottle of Yarden Gewurztraminer.

It had not standard 14%, from the 2023 vintage, and dry. Sweet and young grapes were on the nose. It had some bitterness at the first drinking. A little later, I met notes of acidity. The further was the changing between acidity and a slightly increased bitterness. The high degrees felt, but that didn’t matter. In the end, I couldn’t accept this taste by expressing a dislike to big acidity. Its repercussions were in reminding in the aftertaste. Gewurztraminer isn’t my grape.
