Lord George Gordon Byron tired from abundance of poems on romantic heroes and created a personage Child Harold who gave origin to Byronic hero who can be alienating from society, educated, have intelligence quality, rebellious spirit, liking to drink, be so emotional, be tortured, be moody, has trauma of past, depression, arrogance, merciless, despising to ranks and achieving of justice by any methods. I finished with that book after “canto the first”.
A journey in which went Child Harold doesn’t interesting by that plot is very sideline. I forgot on it in reading of describing of places and expression of thoughts on situation in country in which main hero arrives who have so thin times mentioning in never meaningful acts. There I was suspicious that I read about author’s personal impression and experience. And devotion to one woman confirms this obvious. It’s always failure for every kind of writing. I didn’t read Ernest Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls when I know a fact that he didn’t see a battle in Spanish Civil War in which his composition takes a set whereas veterans of that fighting say he did precisely and make to seem that Ernest Hemingway participated in it. Lord Byron was handle in writing poem, which reads comfortable when without amaze to verses.
