That puzzling of when not only Italians but also Frenchmen and Spanish-speaking suddenly switch on native in conversation while they know you don’t speak their language explains as falling into emotional state in which they don’t control themselves. I always loved it but that also reminded me in occasions on finally begin to learn language because I want to know everything what they just said. Maybe, that man didn’t like my hair. Anyway, I’ve mapped out the routes through Italy.

I can criticize mercifully but I have worry for Europe as such unhappiness keep to Italy. This country can’t move forward if permits Mussolini’s mausoleum. His body wasn’t supposed to be returned to his family who created a luxurious place for him. Behind despot’s tomb situates his masterfully crafted bust. Flowers, wreaths and candles are putting there. Fascism didn’t die. Too much of it’s reminding in Italy. I’m pointing on edifices which still weren’t demolished. If some monuments should stay separately in museum as history but not constructions. Even they’re beautiful. Nazis and Fascists in contrast to communists sometimes better knew about a pretty design. Everywhere in the world, the supporters of dictatorships reason their preference by there was safety in these times (the authoritarian ruling lovers never admit regime’s bad and can interpret it to ostensible positive). Of course, such states keep a totalitarian control which reduces crimes and there can use behind the law methods or covers existence of them. Italians only renamed places. I looked with curiosity on the pictures of buildings but I had disgust with that. I felt better by watching on Villa Belmonte in Giulino, a place where Mussolini was executed. However I don’t like that cross at entrance because it makes commemoration to him.

I wanted with opportunity of carriage to stop and spend a night in Monteriggioni until finding out a no good place for stay there. It’s a little town has only four hotels. All of them pretend on high category but no one of them in their one hundred prices hasn’t a carpet on a floor in the rooms. These rooms have more worst in that. They covered in tiles. Not even parquet. It’s a castle experience because tile is not so far from a stone in sensing. I would find a presence of candles as reasonable in these places. This poorness with a floor flashes my staying in Lucca. However, this thing mostly can see in Italy as I saw in learning and personal experience through variable in stars hotels.

I want to get the respective amenities for such prices. But you will get the second hand village beds in Monteriggioni. A construction in limited using of metal on with fat and ugly designed bedspreads. I will only believe it was a gift from Uncle Mario who decided to sell his farm.

One hotel describes an “exceptional breakfast” which uniqueness only bringing it in a room. A choice is meager. Perhaps, even terrible then in these couple ones I had in Lucca. There only bread’n’jam. Other place serves a “good breakfast” what is honest but it’s confession in inappropriateness. The rest two hotels dare to not offer a morning meal. Furthermore, one of them shows a photo of croissants on a table. I once understood, I’m not so well with liars. In any case, you pay for place and a beautiful view in these hotels. Oh, Santa Lucia.

I stopped in a four-star Hotel Bologna in Pisa in my January visit of Italy. A room had a wooden floor under feet and I discovered a long black hair under blanket and that was similar to a horror movie. That place didn’t shine on that quantity of stars. While breakfast had something in variety. However, a hotel cost it’s price in a period in which I was there (I wouldn’t choose this place in summer). Fortunately, I hadn’t tracking of my card (I finally got rid from that in the next year after Lucca) and I can choose.

Let me speak on Poland which I compared before but I make a stronger example which put to futility. I was in one star hotel in Warsaw, which has one not working elevator and I willn’t come back for personal reasons. However, it’s far advanced what I had in many Italian places. It has a beautiful and welcome white bed, a plastic floor on which stepping isn’t perfect but it’s comfortable then that’s rough surface in Hotel Bologna and breakfast has a little less variety in comparison with Polish more stars hotels while it only offers boiled eggs and no scramble ones. But it has vegetables, cut meat, cereals and jams which just only in small choices.

I willn’t visit Monteriggioni with bus alternative because they go Italian way. However, it willn’t in this time which will in the end of June when I will put myself into Italian passions. It will a first stage in which I will go from north to south of a continental part. A week later, I will begin a second stage which will include Sicily where I did slightly change with a starting point but the end will as I planned because no other place can be for final as that one.
