It is possible that you can see and understand a person through reading his or her works. I did that toward Donald Trump by taking his first book Trump The Art of the Deal, which I would want to buy but his covering of Epstein’s list didn’t let me to do that.
As any writing, a businessman involved a professional writer as it was hiring of Tony Schwartz here who considers it as a “greatest regret” since Trump’s first presidency and unstoppably letters toxic posts in his agony of hate. But aside far future, in reading The Art of the Deal you recognize an entrepreneur his interpretation style by getting his characteristic describing of people and things. He speaks directly but not everything. These unfinished spots as many of them in his deals can’t be but unnoticeable. Certainly, it was his right what should be in a book.
Nonetheless, Trump shows his openness in talking about people he dislikes and praises. I love his inner thoughts on his participation in specific events.
The Art of the Deal puts into business world with all it’s realities. It’s a scrupulous describing of that world makes to be there. Trump demonstrates his mastery there and how he makes decisions. I disagree with him that you mostly should have a gut feel. Though the luck is important and I would compare that with poker but I reason that a big part of his achievements is that he does studying.
The book makes to recognize on Donald Trump and if come to nowadays again, it explains his acts in presidency. It discloses how the businessman achieved top. I liked to see in The Art of the Deal that he admits mistakes. However, success can’t be without that.
In the book can discover useful, which can approach not only in business. The Art of the Deal motivates to action in a sphere in which your aspiration lies.
There couldn’t be just business. An episode of meeting with a big name painter corroborates truth on contemporary art. A lot and that’s logical, an entrepreneur tells on his experience with politicians to which he makes an interesting perspective in his observations and a good conclusion in that they don’t care on not own money and that brings to familiar thoughts on budget control. But there has a reminding on what presence of government should be in entrepreneurship.
The book has elements which display a period as it was telling on what can consider now as very early emergence of political correctness when the businessman was attacked for absence of black tenants in his apartment building. Sometimes Trump gives a glimpse but enough in portraying of famous men. I disagree with his reasoning on Jimmy Carter because ask of the last was open insolence and no more. Alongside with that I can’t accept his incorrect view on Ronald Reagan because that person was lovable and he could win at a third time if had such opportunity.
Writing becomes chaotic in rare occasions. Trump (or his co-author if be correct) writes the banks weren’t convinced in giving money on that deal but the next is describing of triumph, which follows on who gave these finances. Such example wasn’t once. Or other one was on one businessman who was going on month vacation but he returned several days later and very soon return on initial period. And there was that buying from Equitable presented as acquiring of whole company but few sentences later it was about all share in a deal with them.
I can’t take on mind that he made a book mistake in business by letting emotions to take control on him. Trump trusted a control of casino with thousands persons in staff to his wife who had no management experience. I did paging of The America We Deserve, which was published in 2000 and a book was with an eye on presidency, and there he speaks on a manager who called and worried about Ivana’s approach in control. And the entrepreneur permitted her to decide with design of interior in one project. It’s a strange believing that a woman must decide in such things, which usually about living place whereas things show they must be kept away from this except she is a specialist.
I can’t accept building a hotel near with Kremlin from a moral point but it was also a shortsighted venture because such people are incapable for make a deal. And future will show so.
I am not attracted to reading on process of business deals but I went through because it was a knowledge which must know despite how I relate to that. Trump likes to mention any little achievement as his building was a first which installed such unusual windows or it was a first woman who developed a skyscraper. He became unstoppable in such description in his photos in book’s middle, which almost contained his edifices. One of them had, “its 6-story pink marble atrium with 80-foot waterfall has made it a New York City landmark.” The Art of the Deal doesn’t contain narcissism but his likes to have the tallest and the largest was unbearable and led to that I had before, finish with reading. I received a needful information on business and inner of Donald Trump. Maybe, I will miss something amazing but I saw that the rest 107 pages will on having another winning deals.
